Health district
WHAT IS THE HEALTH DISTRICT?
There are many challenges to be tackled in the health, medical technology and life science fields. Technoparc Montréal’s Health District is well positioned to deal with these challenges from a scientific standpoint by offering:
- An environment conducive to research, innovation and the establishment of specialized businesses
- A university and industrial convergence hub
- A geographical and cognitive pool bringing together eminent international health researchers
- Strong partnerships between economic players, CHUM expertise centres and associated research centres
WHERE IS IT?
Located in the heart of Downtown Montreal, the Health District has greatly benefited from municipal urban planning offensives. For further information on business establishment terms and conditions, contact Mr. Yves Dubé, Director, Life Sciences.
WHY WAS IT CREATED?
The Health District was created as part of a long-term strategy to address both future social issues and current challenges faced by innovative companies in the health, life science and medical technology sectors. Through the services it proposes, the Health District supports the rapid growth of health research, the development and marketing processes of resident companies and the implementation, expansion and support of innovative companies.
