Repare Therapeutics is developing new, precision oncology drugs for patients that target specific vulnerabilities of tumor cells. Their approach integrates insights from several fields of cell biology including DNA repair and synthetic lethality. NEOMED – expansion project
A major expansion is planned in the heart of Montreal’s Technoparc. The NEOMED Institute is proud to present its investment project that will give an additional space of more than 50,000 square feet to the current building located on Frederick-Banting. Independent Shuttle Survey
First, we would like to congratulate Mr. Daniel Fortin of West Corporation who won the draw for the $50 gift certificate at Moishe’s restaurant, offered by FPInnovations. We also want to thank the 277 survey respondents from 43 different companies. For the moment, here are some interesting compiled results: 75% of respondents currently use their car to get to work … but more than 45% plan to use the REM when it becomes available! Also, 67% of respondents feel safe and comfortable to ride in a driverless vehicle. The same 67% prefer fixed stops and schedules during peak periods but would appreciate on-demand service outside of peak hours. First encouraging results for the autonomous electric shuttle project at the Technoparc!

In December 2017, we had the pleasure of welcoming the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Saint-Laurent – Mount Royal (CCSL-MR) for the launch of its Alpha 2018 competition. It was a beautiful gathering of guests in which we received encouraging speeches and the unveiling of the official Alpha 2018 Contest logo. Several international delegations visit the Technoparc
In December 2017, we hosted the official delegation of the German Consulate General at the Technoparc. We had a stimulating meeting targeting collaborative projects between the two countries in aerospace, life sciences, clean technologies and intelligent transport.
Also, we had the pleasure to receive a delegation of investors and the Consulate General of Brazil who came to probe the potential exchanges between the two countries in the industries present at the Technoparc. We also explored opportunities in the nutraceutical and pharmaceutical fields.
Finally, we presented the companies of the Technoparc an interesting seminar with the delegation of the Swiss Consulate General. Under the heading “Doing business in Switzerland”, the event allowed companies to better target the Swiss and European markets, especially in the high tech and health sciences industries.
In addition to building strong ties for the future, these meetings allow Technoparc Montréal to position itself favorably to attract international companies onto its territory.
